Our commitment to lowering our carbon footprint starts with the rising dawn.
- By the end of 2025, all of our manufacturing facilities will be certified zero waste to landfill.
- By the end of 2040 net zero carbon emissions.
- We will reduce greenhouse gas emissions 25% at all Suncast facilities by 2027.
- We have replaced non-recyclable wooden blocks used for home delivery of our products with recyclable corrugated cardboard versions.
- We are replacing non-recyclable wooden skids used for home delivery of our products with recyclable corrugated cardboard versions by the end of 2027.

Our customers know us for our smart, innovative products that make their lives easier and more efficient today, but our design for them goes beyond that.
- Our products are built to last many years, and we offer replacement parts to extend useful life.
- Our products are designed to be recycled at the end of their useful life and can be returned to our Batavia, IL facility as a part of the Suncast Renew Program.
- We reuse 100% of our scrap resin in our manufacturing process.
- We use an average of 50% recycled materials across all Suncast manufactured products.
- We use vegetable-based lubricants for production of our products.

Our people make everything possible. We foster a diverse community and promoted equal opportunity initiatives to make new things possible for them.
- We value diversity and promote equal employment opportunities company-wide
- We pay all of our employees a living wage. On average, our pay is more than 7% higher than market average.
- More than 70% of our manufacturing employees are BIPOC.
- 50% of all manager level positions are held by women and minorities.
- We have partnered with AutonomyWorks to employ adults with autism in a manufacturing role packing parts boxes, ensuring the right parts are in the box 100% of the time.
- Our apprentice program benefits underserved communities by drawing from local community colleges, most with at least 50% minority student populations. The program provides instruction in technical areas to produce employees qualified for careers that require precision skills with zero college debt.

At Suncast, we are always looking toward the horizon for improving our processes, products, and environment inside our company and out to create meaningful impact. Leaving Nothing to Waste
By 2025, all our facilities will send zero waste to landfill.
Harnessing the Sun
By the end of 2023, 100% of our plants will be partially solar-powered, and all our distribution facilities will operate using 100% self-generated solar power.
Continuing the Cycle
Our products will be manufactured with 55% recycled materials by 2025. They are also designed to be recycled at their end-of-life. While we are developing a national network of recyclers that will accept all Suncast products by 2025, if local recycling isn’t available, you can return them to our Batavia, IL facility as part of the Suncast Renew Program.
Creating Opportunity for Everyone to Shine
We have committed 50% of all Executive and Director-level positions and board positions to be held by women and minorities by 2025.
